Remember to browse the books in the church library. Everyone is encouraged to check out a book and enjoy these helpful resources.
Our Sunday School ministry needs additional teachers and backup volunteers for classes serving all ages below the teen Youth Academy level. If you are interested in serving—or have ideas about how you could help—please speak with one of the elders.
Additional info
Current ideas include aligning Sunday School with the existing nine-month Youth Academy schedule, using the summer for family-style Sunday School, and expanding from three classes to five rather than six. Teachers and volunteers are welcome to serve in a rotation, even once a month or less.
Thank you to everyone who faithfully serves our church through music, sound, greeting, security, leadership, maintenance, and many other ministries. Your gifts and service are deeply appreciated as you serve the Lord and His church.
Walking on Water
Continually consider the glory of Jesus as revealed in His person and works—in the gospel and in His daily care for all who trust Him for salvation. Rest in the One who is able to keep you from stumbling and present you blameless before His glory with great joy. To God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority forever (Jude 24–25).
For the week
The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist.
